Barcelona showing strong interest in two Valencia stars Gaya and Soler

Valencia need to bring in €37m in player sales by June 30, 2022, in order to comply with the Financial Fair Play Rules, Diario Sport claim. Barcelona are among the clubs keeping an eye on their players.

To be specific, the Catalans would be interested in signing left-back Jose Gaya and midfielder Carlos Soler. The contacts of both players expire in 2023, meaning that they could be available at cut-price.

Gaya is 26 years old. This term, he's played 14 games for Valencia and has recorded two goals and three assists.

Soler is 24 years old and he can play as a midfielder as well as on the wings. This term, he's recorded seven goals and two assists in 15 matches.

Still, Valencia hope to extend the contract of both players. Although it will not be easy considering their financial situation.
