Barcelona Looking To Sell Camp Nou Naming Rights
"We want between 30 and 40 million euros per season.
"These contracts usually last for 10 or 15 years."
Selling the naming rights would see Camp Nou renamed after a sponsor.
It's a common practice in the world of football, with Bayern's Allianz Arena, Arsenal's Emirates stadium and Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano stadium named after the clubs' sponsors.
The Catalans are going through hard times financially so such a move might be necessary to stay afloat through the pandemic.
But it's clear to see many Barca fans would be against a move.
"I'm old enough to remember when selling the shirt was seen as a horrifying thing," a Blaugrana supporter Kevin Williams tweeted.
"I suspect pretty soon the kits will have sponsors on the butt, if someone would pay enough to be there."
