Aston Villa hit by COVID-19 outbreak one day after playing Liverpool
As per The Athletic, Aston Villa have been hit by a COVID-19 outbreak and chose to cancel their team training on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard's side travelled to Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday afternoon and upon their return to Villa a few members tested positive.
The report states that only one player was tested positive - the rest were members of the training ground staff.
However, Villa's clash against Norwich on Tuesday is still set to go ahead.
Liverpool have not reported any positive cases so far. At the moment, all seems clear at Anfield and hopefully, none of our players and staff were in contact with the positive cases from the Villa camp.
