Arsenal defender Gabriel involved in ‘scary baseball bat attack’ at London home

Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes was attacked outside his home in London by two robbers wielding baseball bats.

Gabriel and his friend were returning home when the robbers demanded the defender’s car keys, mobile phone and his watch as he was getting out of his vehicle.

The Brazilian decided to do as he was told and even willing gave away his car keys to avoid any altercation.

But once one of the robbers lunged at Gabriel with the bat, the Arsenal man dodged him and successfully fought him off.

The defender struck him in the face and wrestled with him, before the thug ran off with his partner.

Fortunately, Gabriel suffered no injuries from the incident but is still shocked by the attempted robbery.
