"There is no clear favorite [in the Champions League]. Bayern, Liverpool and PSG are. But also Real Madrid. And Atletico. Yes. Atletico Madrid can do something big," Carlo Ancelotti has told Diario AS.
"What I can promise is we [Real Madrid] will compete until the end," the Italian boss added.
It is interesting that Ancelotti singled out Atletico Madrid among others. Diego Simeone's side are currently on a 4-game losing streak in La Liga, and rumour has it Simeone could even be sacked soon.
Real Madrid will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the competition's next stage.
