Adarabioyo Saves Fulham From Defeat, After Solanke Scores Again

A late equaliser by Tosin Adarabioyo was just good enough and in time to save Fulham from losing at home against Bournemouth in the English Champions, though the visitors went ahead through Dominic Solanke.

Megasportsarena.com reports that, as expected, it turned out to be an evening of thrills at Craven Cottage, where the late stunner from Adarabioyo cancelled out Solanke’s opener and keeps Marco Silva’s Cottagers top of the second-tier log.

Adarabioyo’s effort helped Fulham cling to top spot in the Championship, but they had to romp back from behind to hold second-placed Bournemouth to a thrilling 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.

Silva’s side dominated proceedings in the first half and could easily have gone into the dressing room two or three ahead.

However, it was the visitors who struck first, when Solanke fired home in the 46th minute of play, with an assist from Philip Anyanwu Billing, who later got an 88th minute yellow card.

While Josh Onomah stayed on the hosts’ bench all match long in the cold of London, Fulham went close with a host of chances, with their 21-goal hitman, Aleksandar Mitrovic denied on several occasions, but with six minutes to play, Adarabioyo’s header salvaged a point.

That equaliser denied The Cherries’ coach, Scott Parker a winning return to London, six months after his departure. With both teams recording a third draw in succession, they remain in first and second spot, separated by just a point.

It came dramatically and just when it looked as though it wasn’t going to be Fulham’s day, Cairney whipped in another sumptuous ball, which Adarabioyo glanced home to keep The Cottagers top of the pile. December 04, 2021 at 02:38PM
