69-metre high Messi mural unveilied in Argentina

Argentinean artists Marlene Zuriaga and Lisandro Urteaga have painted a huge mural depicting Lionel Messi in the centre of Leo's hometown Rosario.

The portrait of the legendary forward in the national team jersey is more than 200 feet (69 metres) tall.

"Leo got to where he is after facing many obstacles, some since he was a child. He had growing problems and he overcame that and is an example for us all," Urteaga told Reuters.

Messi won his record-extending seventh Ballon d'Or in late November.
