Thiago addresses Barcelona rumours
"As I always have been, I am a guy who plays football and I am not concerned about the rumours," Thiago Alcantara told Liverpool's official website when asked about reports that Barcelona are interested in signing him.
"I am focused on the duty I have with my team, the years I have with my contract with my team.
"I just want to know about this, about this new adventure I have here in the Premier League, trying to win all the trophies I can and my commitment is maximum with this team."
Earlier in November, Spanish press reported that Barcelona are considering signing the Liverpool midfielder.
Thiago started his professional career at Camp Nou, leaving the Catalan side for Bayern in 2013. He was teammates with the current Barca head coach Xavi.
The 30-year-old has made 38 appearances for Liverpool since joining the club in September 2020.
