Rudiger not even in top 10: Chelsea players wages revealed 2021/2022
Chelsea players wages revealed 2021/2022
Chelsea have a lot of important players on expiring contracts within the next two seasons. These include the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Antonio Rudiger and more.
Yesterday, one of our users Stan Rick commented on a post with a suggestion: "Admin can you please paste earnings of every Chelsea player so we can understand why Chelsea doesn’t want to give players the required salaries they want."
So after some research, we have compiled a list of the salaries of every single player in the first-team squad.
We have to mention that these listed salaries might not be entirely accurate as they are taken from an unofficial website, Spotrac.com who share the wages of the top clubs' players.
Chelsea (and other teams) do not officially release the wages of a player so there might be some disparity between these and the official figures. However, Sportrac is a reliable website and the wages listed seem broadly believable.
Here is the entire list of players, ranked from the highest earner to the lowest (the wages mentioned are earnings per week):
1) Romelu Lukaku - £325,000 per week
2) NGolo Kante - £290,000
3) Timo Werner - £272,000
4) Saul Niguez - £198,269
5) Ben Chilwell - £190,000
6) Kepa Arrizabalaga - £155,000
7) Cesar Azpilicueta - £150,000
8) Kai Havertz - £150,000
9) Mateo Kovacic - £150,000
10) Christian Pulisic - £150,000
11) Callum Hudson-Odoi - £120,000
12) Jorginho - £110,000
13) Thiago Silva - £105,000
14) Marcos Alonso - £100,000
15) Antonio Rudiger - £100,000
16) Hakim Ziyech - £100,000
17) Mason Mount - £88,462
18) Andreas Christensen - £80,000
19) Ruben Loftus-Cheek - £60,000
20) Reece James - £58,000
21) Edouard Mendy - £52,000
22) Charly Musonda - £42,000
23) Marcus Bettinelli - N/A
24) Trevoh Chalobah - N/A
Lukaku is the highest earner at the club, with Kante and Werner rounding out the top 3.
We can see that players like Reece James and Mason Mount will be due a large contract on their next extension as they currently seem underpaid based on their quality and contributions here.
It's also understandable why Rudiger wants a pay raise, given his importance to the team.
