Newcastle United are eager to secure Ajax coach Erik ten Hag in the summer
Newcastle owners want to take the club to the very top, and hope to play attacking, exciting football along the way.
According to the Daily Mirror, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund sees ten Hag as the perfect candidate to take the Magpies job.
However, the coach will take some convincing, as he is doing a wonderful job at Ajax.
A mid-season switch is possible, but ten Hag would be giving up a team that is in the Champions League to fight relegation in the Premier League.
A well-placed source, per the Daily Mirror, said: "Will it be Champions League or Championship? That is the question that bothers Ten Hag.
