Messi shares his honest opinion on Barca's Xavi appointment

"I'm sure Xavi will help Barcelona. They'll improve thanks to him – he's a manager who knows how to proceed in these situations, he knows Barca so well. It's a great appointment," Leo Messi has told Marca.

Shortly after Xavi became the new Barca manager, Messi congratulated him and even made a funny joke, as Xavi later revealed.

Xavi's Barcelona deal expires only in 2024 – who knows, maybe he will manage to coach Leo one day.
