Manchester City are ready to sell Raheem Sterling in the winter transfer market, British outlet Metro report.
The Citizens will ask for £45m-£50m in return for the player, with Barcelona said to be interested.
Man City have been trying to extend Sterling's contract but the 26-year-old appears to be reluctant, and the negotiations have stalled.
As per reports in Spain, Xavi wants to sign a forward in January and Sterling is one of the names on the table. However, due to their financial struggles, Barca will look to sign someone on loan with a buy option included.
It's unclear whether City will be ready to accept this formula.
