Luis Enrique brutally laughs off links to Man United job
After being linked to take over the Man United managerial role, Spain boss Luis Enrique laughed at the prospect and told La Sexta: “Is today April Fools' Day?”
Enrique has no plans at all to leave his role as the manager of the Spanish national team. He’s very happy with the current job and isn’t willing to move away from that to take the United role.
The Red Devils are also targeting the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Brendan Rodgers and Erik ten Hag to be their new manager.
Chairman Joel Glazer reportedly prefers to appoint Zinedine Zidane, but the Frenchman isn’t eager to take up the job.
