Laporta's advisor confirms Barcelona can still sign Halaand in 2022

"The signing of Haaland? It is linked to the issue of fair play. Nothing can be ruled out," Joan Laporta's close advisor Enric Masip said on Ellarguero.

Barcelona are looking to beef up their squad in the coming year, with a host of players being linked to the club.

Dortmund's prolific striker Erling Haaland has been consistently linked with Barcelona, and most big clubs across Europe.

However, the Blaugrana are known to be cash strapped and in debt. It remains to be seen how they can cough out the €75m required to sign the Norwegian in 2022.
