Jose Mourinho buys Roma youngster €800 shoes after first goals for senior team
Last weekend, Jose Mourinho's Roma defeated Genoa 2-0. Both goals were scored by Felix Afena-Gyan, an 18-year-old forward who came on in the 74th minute.
After the game, the manager revealed that he had promised the forward to buy a new pair of shoes worth €800.
"I had promised to buy Felix the boots he really likes, which are really expensive, they cost €800, so he ran over and told me not to forget!" Mourinho said.
"Tomorrow morning, the first thing I do is buy him the boots."
Just one day later, the Ghanaian shared a video on social media to show that Mourinho kept his promise:
The Portuguese has already claimed that Afena-Gyan will keep training with the senior side, so he's sure to add to the three first-team appearances he's made so far.
