Former Locomotive Moscow President Accuse Rangnick Of Buying Average Players
The Former President of Russian Club Lokomotive Moscow Olga Smorodskaya has Accused Rangnick of being used to buying average of players.
Rangnick is leaving as technical director of Loko to become caretaker manager of Manchester United.
Smorodskaya told Sport-Express: “I was expecting something like this. I didn't think it would be Manchester United. He will not find any glory there. It was obvious that he would leave the club.
"Such an orgy of buying average footballers for big money never ended well. Now again there is talk about the lack of composition.
You bought eight people! What were you thinking about? They just bought someone who cannot play at a decent level. Will the positions of Tomas Zorn and Gisdol weaken? They all need to leave.
"But Rangnick, even from a distance, will receive money for consultations.
I do not understand this. From the first day I was not happy about the arrival of Rangnik or Zorn.
I saw how such carpet purchases would end. There is no one to play, that's all."
