Evra Names Best Friend Park Ji-ji-sung As His Son's Godfather

Patrice Evra welcomed his fifth child and first with fiancee Margaux Alexandra in May.

Evra's son Lilas is now the godson of Park Ji-Sung - a firm fan favourite at Old Trafford to date.

Evra and Park struck up a friendship during their six years at Manchester United. And in a recent Q&A with fans arranged by the official website, Uncle Pat was asked why they're so close.

He replied: "Because I like shy people! When someone doesn’t open himself up too much, that’s when I go to those people.

"Ji is the godfather to my son, he’s more than a friend. I spoke with him actually this morning so it just came naturally.

"He’s such a humble person but he’s also a funny guy. You don’t see that side, because he only shows it to me. He’s a real brother."
