Ed Woodward could delay United exit to help appoint new manager
Ed Woodward could postpone his departure from Man United after sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, claims Sky Sports.
The United executive vice-chairman is now planning to help the club oversee the appointment of an interim manager and a long-term successor to Ole.
Woodward was supposed to leave his role at United at the end of this year after playing a part in United’s involvement in the Super League.
But he’s still remain central to the club’s decision-making process and was the one who took the decision to sack Solskjaer.
With instability within United’s footballing department, Woodward is likely to have a key role over many months t come at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are currently searching for a new interim manager until the end of the season, with many candidates being considered.
