Cristiano Ronaldo reacts to Man United sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Reacting to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s departure from Man United, Cristiano Ronaldo tweeted: “He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man. United.

“But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend! You deserve it!”

Ronaldo has seen quite a lot of sackings over the last few seasons at a club-level. Juventus sacked 3 managers during his stint with the club and United let go of Ole a few months after his return to Old Trafford.

Cristiano remains United's top-scorer so far this season, having scored 9 goals in all competitions.
