Barca identify Chelsea duo as alternative to Sterling
In case they cannot land Raheem Sterling, Barcelona have targeted Chelsea's forwards Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner as alternatives, ESPN's reliable Samuel Marsden and Moises Llorens report.
Blaugrana have already enquired about their availability.
Since they do not have too much money available, the Catalans will target players who have not been featuring regularly at their clubs. Barca will look to sign someone on loan with a non-obligatory buy clause.
The coach's priority is to reinforce the attack. Barca have few funds available following the signing of Dani Alves and Xavi. Thus, they will look to offload some of their players to lighten the wage bill.
The stats of Barca's two targets:
-Werner: 10 games (6 starts), 2 goals, 1 assist;
-Ziyech: 11 games (8 starts), 2 goals, 2 assists.
