Asensio reacts to Granada win, says Real Madrid still need to improve

"I'm pleased with how the game went. It's always tough to get back into the groove following the international break but the team were disciplined, it was a good performance and, most importantly, we took the three points," Marco Asensio said after the Granada win.

"We have to analyse the game and watch it again because, at 2-0, they got one back and had another good chance. But we came back strong and in the second half, it was a good all-around performance."

Asensio played a big role in Real Madrid being able to beat Granada away, as it was him who opened the score.

This term so far, the 26-year-old has played 13 matches for the Whites, recording four goals and one assist.
