Argentina allow Lionel Messi to 'focus' on PSG in coming months
As reported by Spanish news outlet Marca, the Argentina football federation has agreed to allow Lionel Messi to 'focus' on his Paris Saint-Germain commitments in the months ahead.
Argentina have already qualified for the World Cup 2022 and PSG's sporting director Leonardo is not pleased about Messi prioritising the national team.
Before the recent international break, Leo, 34, missed two matches against RB Leipzig and Bordeaux while getting regenerative therapy in Madrid.
He then played for Argentina, thus placing PSG on the back seat.
Now that a spot in next year's World Cup is secure, Messi is reportedly ready to give his full attention to PSG.
