Allegri Provides Injury Update Regarding His Players Ahead Of Lazio And Chelsea Clash
Paulo Dybala and Aaron Ramsey could miss Juventus’ away clash against Lazio, but Moise Kean has recovered and will be available at the Stadio Olimpico, said Massimiliano Allegri.
The Bianconeri visit Lazio at 17.00 UK time tomorrow.
During his pre-match press conference, Allegri provided injury updates regarding his players.
Paulo Dybala and Aaron Ramsey could miss the match against Lazio with a calf and a flexor injury, respectively.
“Dybala will train for the first time in a week today. He wants to be available, but we have to see,” Allegri said.
“He has nothing serious, but the calf is tricky.
“I have to evaluate Ramsey. Yesterday he had a flexor problem and we’ll see if he can be available tomorrow.”
However, Allegri confirmed that Moise Kean has recovered from an injury and will be available against Lazio.
Giorgio Chiellini, Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia De Sciglio are on the treatment table and won’t be eligible to play tomorrow.
“De Sciglio is recovering and I hope he can return after the match against Chelsea,” Allegri said.
“Bernardeschi will be out for 15-20 days, he was doing well so I hope he will pick up from where he left off when he returns to action.”
Juventus will visit Chelsea after the match against Lazio next week.
The Bianconeri won the reverse fixture in Turin last mongh and have qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 with two games to spare. Therefore, Allegri doesn’t seem too concerned about the match against the Blues.
“It’s an important game, in an extraordinary stadium,” said Allegri.
“However, we’ll play to win the group and not to qualify for the next stage, that’s something we have already achieved.”
