AC Milan Centre-back Romagnoli Returns To Training Ahead of Fiorentina Clash
The Rossoneri are currently first in Serie A but have struggled with a host of injury issues at the start of the campaign.
Romagnoli was not expected to be back in time for the match against the Viola and is still uncertain, but Stefano Pioli has been given good news regarding the captain.
The 26-year-old has played 11 times across all competitions this season but has been out for the last few weeks with a muscle tear.
But the captain has recovered from the adductor problem and is reportedly back in training with the rest of the group.
Calciomercato.com reports Pioli should have him available for Saturday’s match in Florence, as the Diavolo aim to extend their unbeaten run in Serie A.
Milan are joint first with Napoli after 12 games, with the Partenopei travelling to San Siro to play third-placed Inter on Sunday.
