Tuchel says that a player will miss the match against Chelsea and Malmo in the Champions League.
Christian Pulisic will not be part of Chelsea's squad for Wednesday's Champions League match against Malmo at Stamford Bridge, according to Thomas Tuchel.
Pulisic is close to returning to action for Chelsea, according to Tuchel, albeit the US international still has pain in his ankle.
This was stated by the German during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, before of the Malmo match.
Chelsea travel to the game after a 1-0 Premier League victory against Brentford over the weekend.
Only Christian Pulisic is out for tomorrow, according to Tuchel.
"He was on the verge of returning, but he had a minor reaction with some ankle soreness."
Christian is frustrated because he wants to play, because he wants to be on the field with us, and we can see how much he misses out on team meetings when he is unable to participate. This is very normal.
"It's a challenge for him." He was hurt during a match for the United States, when he took a hard foul and hurt his ankle."
Chelsea vs Malmo will kick off at 8 p.m.
