Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson clashed with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during yesterday's 2-2 draw with Brighton

The Reds dropped two points at Anfield on Saturday as they failed to build on their emphatic win over Manchester United last weekend.

What is even more infuriating for the Reds is that were 2-0 up after 25 minutes thanks to goals from the Liverpool skipper and Sadio Mane.

But the Seagulls showed great character to get back into the match as strikes from Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard secured an unlikely 2-2 draw.

The Mirror reports tempers flared in the second half in the Liverpool camp as Henderson was seen getting into an argument with Oxlade-Chamberlain, who replaced the injured Naby Keita in the first half.

There was a breakdown in communication in the build-up to Trossard's equaliser which saw the pair share a few choice words with one another.
