Liverpool boss Klopp respond to Ole penalty comment: 'Those are just facts'
After United was denied two penalties against Westham Ole think Liverpool boss comment might have influenced the referee decision not to award those penalties to united.
"Nothing to say about it," said Jurgen Klopp when asked about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's insinuation that the Liverpool boss' comments influenced penalty decisions against Manchester United.
"We cannot influence referees with things like that. United are good, they go in the box, they have these situations but so do we and we didn't have even a similar number of penalties.
"Those are just facts."
It all started when in January, Klopp commented that the Red Devils have gotten more penalties in two years than he's got at Liverpool in five-and-a-half years.
And this season, Solskjaer brought it up after he felt United were denied two clear penalties against West Ham.
It's nice to have a war of words with the rival boss before a big game and hopefully, United will have the last laugh this Sunday.
