Lionel Messi names 4 players who deserve to win 2021 Ballon d'Or

"In my team [PSG], there are two players for whom I will easily vote: Neymar and Kylian [Mbappe]. And then Lewandowski, who has just had a great year. There's also Benzema who has been excellent," Leo Messi has told France Football.

All of these players have made the 30-man shortlist, with the winner set to be announced on November 29.

Both Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema could actually challenge Leo for the prize this year. The Polish striker has netted 50 goals this year so far while the Real Madrid forward has got 47 goal contributions.

Messi is said to be the best-positioned player to win the prize; he could claim his 7th Ballon d'Or already.
