FIFA will not take action over racism allegations from England draw in Poland last month
FIFA will take no further disciplinary action following a clash between Kamil Glik and Kyle Walker during England's draw in Poland last month.
In the first half of the game, Glik appeared to pinch Walker's neck after which a brawl followed. After the game, the FA accused the Polish defender of racially abusing Walker.
The Polish FA has always denied the allegations. FIFA launched an investigation but on Wednesday, it was officially dropped.
"After a thorough assessment, which included relevant match reports, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided not to open disciplinary proceedings in relation to Poland against England on 8 September, due to insufficient evidence." a FIFA spokesperson said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
"FIFA's position remains firm and resolute in rejecting all forms of discrimination but, in this particular case, no evidence has been produced to support further action."
