Tottenham Hotspur’s sporting director Fabio Patarici – who previously worked in the same role at Juventus – spoke about how close Jude Bellingham came to signing for them.
He said: “Jude Bellingham was one step away from joining Juventus years ago.
“He was in Turin for few days, the deal was close… then Jude decided to choose Bundesliga as next step, so he joined Borussia Dortmund.”
Belligham joined Borussia Dortmund last year and has quickly become one of the best players in the team.
He’s made 11 appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring 2 goals and registering 5 assists in all competitions.
