As pressure rises on Arteta, Vieira speaks about his desire to return to Arsenal as manager.
Patrick Vieira, the manager of Crystal Palace, has stated that he would always be an Arsenal supporter and has been mum on whether he will return to the club.
On Monday night, a last-gasp Alexandre Lacazette goal deprived the former Arsenal captain's side three points.
Mikel Arteta's side took the lead through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Christian Benteke and Odsonne Eduoard turned the game around for Palace.
After the game, Vieira was asked about the standing ovation he received from Arsenal supporters and if he plans to return to the Emirates as a manager.
"I spent nine years here and we played some really good football at times," the Frenchman, who only joined Palace this summer, said. "I am always going to love this football club and the fans." I'll always be an Arsenal supporter.
“Having said that, I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a member of a fantastic club with a strong foundation, which allows me to coach a strong team.
"I think Crystal Palace is a fantastic football team." I'm surrounded by people that are passionate about improving the club, and I'm having a great time there.
