Solskjaer: 'Cristiano knows he's not going to play every game for United
Solskjaer on Ronaldo playing time at United
"We knew he was gonna have a great impact on and off the pitch," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the press when asked how he plans to manage Cristiano Ronaldo's playing time this season.
"Cristiano is still so professional, the discipline he's showed throughout his career to make the most of it has rubbed off on teammates.
"[I have] been delighted, he's a different man now to when I played with him.
"He's been absolutely top, work-rate, attitude into games, communication.
"He knows he's not going to play every game but that's a good chat to have with me when he won't be ready."
Cristiano has missed only one game since his move to Man United, the mid-week clash against West Ham in the Carabao Cup.
Solskjaer opted to play a heavily rotated squad to give the first-teamers some rest ahead of the Aston Villa and Villarreal.
