Romano provides updates on contract extensions of 4 Blues

Chelsea are working on the contract extensions of 4 players during the season.

As per the reliable Fabrizio Romano, 'no official talks have taken place' between Chelsea, Jorginho and N'Golo Kante over their contract extensions.

However, handing the midfielder's new deals is 'on the list' for the club.

Jorginho's contract expires in the summer of 2023, with Kante's deal also coming to an end then.

An agreement is 'almost ready' between Chelsea and Andreas Christensen for the defender to extend his contract at the club.

Romano adds that talks are ongoing between the Blues and Antonio Rudiger, who wants a higher salary in his new deal - no terms have been agreed yet.
