List of scoring records Leo Messi and Ronaldo can still break
Without question, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two greatest scorers in modern-day football.
Both players have smashed records aplenty in their long and successful careers. Albeit, there's still more to achieve with their new teams.
For Messi:
Leo can still extend his scoring record against different teams in the Champions League. The Argentine holds the record for the player with most goals scored against different teams - 36.
The 34-year-old can also break the record of Champions League record scorer. He has 120, 15 goals shy of Ronaldo.
For Ronaldo:
Wayne Rooney's record as the greatest scorer at Manchester United is there for the taking. However, Ronaldo's 118 goals is still a far cry from Rooney 253 for the Red Devil.
The 36-year-old is also in the running to break the record for most different teams a player has scored against in the Champions League. He's scored against 35 teams, just 1 behind Messi.
This is one heck of an unending rivalry.
