Gavi, Barcelona's second most frequent passer vs Cadiz

One of the few positive surprises for Barcelona this season is the form of Gavi as he has broken into the first team, impressing against Cadiz as he became the second youngest player to start for the club at the age of 17 years and 49 days.

The midfielder was a surprise choice in Ronald Koeman's midfield against Cadiz, but it worked out as he repaid his coach's faith by completing 64 passes in his 70 minutes, second only to the 77 passes of Sergio Busquets.

Gavi is destined to become an important player and that could happen as soon as this season, having featured as a substitute against Getafe and then against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Now with a start under his belt against Cadiz, Gavi's stats are looking promising with one assist from 120 minutes and 93 of his 107 passes being completed.

He could keep his place in the side to face Levante on Sunday, but that may depend on the fitness of Pedri as he returns from injury.
