Chelsea 'ready to hijack' Juventus' move for AS Monaco wonderkid
Chelsea are ready to accelerate their plans to hijack Juventus’ to sign AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, as per Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.
Juventus reportedly believe their squad is ‘incomplete’ right now and want to give manager Massimiliano Allegri his desired midfield target.
However, Chelsea are readying a very attractive proposal for the young Frenchman in an attempt to beat Juve to his signing.
Thomas Tuchel’s side already signed Saul Niguez on a loan deal from Atletico Madrid this summer – but remain interesting in bolstering their midfield.
Tchouameni made 36 appearances in Ligue 1 for Monaco last season and has earned the reputation for being one of the brightest young defensive midfielders in Europe.
