Barca B captain Alex Collado risks not playing until January
Alex Collado faces a lot of uncertainty after his move to Sheffield United collapsed.
As per La Sexta reporter Maria Garridos, the 22-year-old has not been registered with Barcelona's first team. Curiously, he has not been included in Barca B's squad for this season either.
The midfielder is in limbo, as his non-inclusion means he is legally prohibited from playing football.
The situation could be resolved in January when the transfer window opens and Collado could make a move elsewhere.
Another option would be to make a temporary switch to a team in Russia or Turkey, where the window is still open:
According to journalist Albert Roje, the reason why Alex could not make a move to Sheff Utd is basically Barca's incompetence.
The Catalans focused on the Griezmann and De Jong transfers and did not send the papers required to finalse the Collado move on time.
As a result, the player, who was Barcelona B's team captain last season, risks spending four months without competitive football.
