Ancelotti lauds his team fighting spirit after Valencia comeback
Real Madrid came from behind to win the clash with Valencia 2-1 which has made manager Ancelotti to laud the team fighting spirit in the press after the game.
“I have a squad that fights and fights, whether they are playing well or playing poorly and that is the feeling I have today,” Carlo Ancelotti said after the 1-2 win against Valencia, as cited by Marca.
“We didn’t play well in the first half and then we went behind but overall in the second half we were better and fresher.
"[Vinicius and Benzema] are forwards of Real Madrid, we are lucky to have them. But I am satisfied with everyone tonight, Hazard was good and Camavinga too.”
Real Madrid were the first to concede but sealed the win with two late goals scored by Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema. Eden Hazard started the game but was replaced in the second half.
The win takes Carlo Ancelotti's men to the top of La Liga table, two points ahead of Atletico Madrid and three points ahead of Valencia.
