Ancelotti compares Camavinga to Casemiro following Mallorca demolition
Carlo Ancelotti gave Casemiro a rest for the clash against Mallorca on Wednesday.
In place of the swashbuckling Brazilian was 18-year-old new signing Eduardo Camavinga.
Asked if the Frenchman aptly replaced Casemiro, Ancelotti said: "There are many who can play in this position.
"On a defensive level, Casemiro's level is very high, when you play against an offensive team, Casemiro is indispensable, there is no other.
"I think the future of Madrid is secure with these players, with Valverde, Camavinga, Blanco.
"I think the present is also with Kroos, Modric, Casemiro. It is a very strong midfield in every way," Ancelotti added.
Real Madrid bulldozed Mallorca 6-1 in yet another 7-goal thriller at the Bernabeu.
