Verratti, Marquinhos make solemn plea to Kylian after Reims masterclass
"We want Mbappe to stay, that's obvious," Marco Verratti said to Prime Video when asked about Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG.
"He is an excellent attacker and he scored two goals. He has proven his level for years," Verratti continued.
People are waiting for his level to drop to criticize him. We expect a lot from him,” the Euro 2020 winner concluded.
PSG defender Marquinhos was asked if Kylian will still be in Paris on Tuesday evening - the day the transfer window ends. “How can we know?, Marquinhos responded, almost harshly.
"We don’t even try to ask him. He has his goals. We really want that. He stays. He showed today how important he is to us.
“With his personality, his quality, it is sure that if he stays, he will help us a lot this season.
We will let him and our leaders settle this question as best as possible. But we want him to stay,“ Marquinhos added.
Mbappe was the star of the show in the 2-0 win against Reims.
It was not the best performance on the night from the league leaders but Mbappe's brace was enough to ensure PSG's 100% record.
