Ronaldo agrees Man City move, Juventus offered swap deal
According to Diario AS in Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo has reached an agreement with Manchester City, but Juventus have refused to include Raheem Sterling in a swap deal.
Juventus directors met Jorge Mendes this morning with the agent pushing for Ronaldo’s move to Manchester City.
The Old Lady is unwilling to let the 36-year-old leave on a free transfer and wants at least €25m to let Ronaldo move to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Diario AS in Spain, the Portuguese ace has already reached an agreement with City, with the Premier League champions offering a two-year, €15m-a-year deal.
According to the same report, Manchester City are open to including Raheem Sterling in a swap deal with the Bianconeri, but Juventus want Gabriel Jesus instead.
The Brazilian striker is Juventus’ priority target to replace Ronaldo, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady’s shortlist includes the likes of Mauro Icardi. Luka Jovic and Moise Kean.
The agent of the latter, Mino Raiola, is currently in Turin to meet the Bianconeri.
The future of Sterling remains a matter of concern for Manchester City, given that the Premier League champions must sell him if they are to welcome Ronaldo.
A previous report from La Gazzetta dello Sport had claimed Barcelona is an option for the England winger.
