Messi leads 2021/2022 List of highest-paid footballers: Ronaldo out of top 3

Give Me Sport have revealed the list of the biggest earners in football and two PSG stars, Lionel Messi and Neymar, are on top of the rankings.

Meanwhile, Messi's long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo is not even in top 3 after the much-hyped transfer to Manchester United. According to reports, the Portuguese accepted a pay cut to reunite with Red Devils and will now receive £480,000-per-week.

The third-biggest earner is Barca legend Andres Iniesta who currently ploughs his trade in Japan.

Here are the Top 10 best-paid footballers in the world based on their weekly wages:
