Koeman: Getafe win is a sign of improvement compared to last season
"It is normal to suffer in football. You cannot always be at your level and today has not been like against Real Sociedad. Last year there were several games like today in which we lost points in the second half and today it has not happened. That is very important," Ronald Koeman said after the 2-1 home win against Getafe.
"We're very happy with the three points. We have known how to suffer because our game with the ball in the second half hasn't been good, and it is great to know how to suffer and play to win the game.
"We must highlight the attitude and the work we have put in, in order to win the game. I am very happy with the team. In the second half, we were able to play better but we also have to take the rival into account."
In the three league matches this term so far, Barcelona have recorded two wins and a draw.
Some of the players will now leave for their national teams with the World Cup qualifiers up ahead.
After the international break, the Catalans will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on September 15 as the La Liga clash against Sevilla has been postponed indefinitely.
