Tuchel’s Plan To Push Tammy Abraham Out Of Chelsea Revealed
Tammy Abraham is unwilling to discuss a new contract with Chelsea as long as the Blues continue to be linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
According to reports, Thomas Tuchel has made Haaland a top target ahead of the summer transfer window but The Athletic claim that interest could have an impact on contract extension talks with Abraham.
The Athletic claim the academy graduate is not interested in entering into contract extension talks while Haaland’s arrival at Stamford Bridge remains a possibility given the doubts it would raise over his first-team chances.
The 22-year-old has two years left on his current deal with the club.
Mino Raiola meanwhile says up to 10 clubs are in the running to sign Haaland, who has a release clause of £68m that becomes active in the summer of 2022.
Dortmund could sell him the Norway international however and recoup a bigger fee with the club currently scrapping to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
