Tuchel Make Strange Revelations As He Faces Biggest Test Against Spurs
Chelsea face Tottenham tonight in the Premier League and the Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is expected to continue with his three-at-the-back system tonight that he has implemented since his arrival.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was deployed as a wing-back against Wolves and he started again when Chelsea took on Burnley.
Now with a visit to north London to take on Tottenham, the German is facing his biggest test since moving to England.
And Hudson-Odoi is expected to continue his role as wing-back while Tuchel has explained his decision to move the England international to the new position.
“I didn’t know he hadn’t played wing-back before,” the former Paris St-Germain manager said.
“Maybe it was a good thing I didn’t ask because maybe I would have doubted my decision!
“Callum fitted very good and we wanted to have at least four offensive guys on the pitch from the start.
“We just let him drive and he did very good, showing all his qualities he has: the high speed, the quick recoveries, dribbles, good one-on-one.
“He took his chance. There was no need to change for the second game and he did another good match.”
