Solskjaer Promotes Two Man Utd Wonderkids To First-Team
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has promoted two youngsters to Manchester United first-team fold with them taking part in training ahead of West Brom clash.
The Red Devils face the Baggies next in the Premier League as they look to get their title bid back on track.
“The young kids, we’ve moved Shola up with us, Hannibal will join us and we’ll keep them with us for a while,” Solskjaer said.
“It’s the next step in their development, we’ve got to take the hit that when they play for the reserves they have to travel by themselves. It’s a nice step for them, they’ve done really well.”
Shola Shoretire and Hannibal Mejbri are two of the best kids in the club’s academy.
They have been touted for stardom, while the former was promoted last week after signing his first professional contract with the Red Devils.
Mejbri, on the other hand, has impressed United’s Under-23 coach Neil Cox, as well as fellow youngster Amad Diallo.
The 18-year-old signed from Atalanta earlier this month and has been tipped to be a first-team regular soon.
