Odion Ighalo To Saudi Arabian Side Al-Shabab Is A Done Deal
Former Super Eagle striker Odion Ighalo has finally signed for Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab.
An official announcement is expected soon after loan at Manchester United expired.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ighalo is moving to Al-Shabab Saudi FC on a permanent deal from Shanghai Shenhua.
The 31-year-old has undergone his medicals ahead of a move and has agreed on a two-and-a-half-year deal with his new club.
Saudi’s transfer window does not close until February 7.
Ighalo joined United in January 2020, initially until the end of May.
With the 2019/2020 campaign continuing into the summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’ side reached an agreement to extend his loan until this month.
Overall, Ighalo made 23 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring five goals.
