Klopp Reveals Triple Injury Boost Ahead Of Man City Clash
Liverpool need a victory to keep their fading title hopes alive against table-topping Manchester City and have received good news on the injury front.
And Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he should be able to call upon Alisson, Fabinho and Sadio Mane for the huge game against Pep Guardiola on Sunday.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of the weekend’s game, Klopp delivered good news on the trio.
“Ali is much better, and was good enough to train an individual session,” Klopp said.
“Sadio and Fabinho can train later today, we will see.”
Klopp did not reveal whether or not new signings Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak could be in line for their Premier League debuts on Sunday, simply adding:
“In an ideal world, you have a few weeks to work on defensive things.
“Ben and Ozan had an analysis meeting yesterday where they got shown all the stuff we do.
“Today and tomorrow they will have a proper session and then we will see.”
