Ighalo Sends Rohr Message Ahead Of Super Eagles Recall
Odion Ighalo has registered his name on the score sheet of Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side Al Shabab.
The former Nigeria international netted his first goal for the Lions in the 4-0 away win against Al Nassr on Saturday night.
Ighalo fired home deep into stoppage time after he was set up by Ever Banega.
The 31-year-old, who recently ended his loan deal with Manchester United, made his debut against Al Raed last week.
“1st of many,” Ighalo tweeted after the game.
This kind of form is exactly what Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr likes about Ighalo, no wonder he is routing for the former United star to the national team.
Al Shabab top the table with 38 points from 18 matches.
