Cristiano Ronaldo To Stay At Juventus Until He Is 38
Juventus are prepared to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a new blockbuster contract that will keep him at Trin until he’s 38, according to reports.
The Portuguese sensation’s current deal, worth a whopping £540,000-a-week, expires in the summer of 2022.
But according to Tutto Sport, Juventus are preparing to keep him at the Old Lady for another year as they believe the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will still be a huge asset even at the age of 38.
The report adds that negotiations with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes have not yet started but initial contact has been made.
His new deal is also likely to ward off any transfer interest from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Man United who have been linked with his signature.
Last year Ronaldo revealed how he has plans to keep playing until he’s 40 at the highest level.
Ronaldo has scored 87 times in 112 appearances for Juventus since his blockbuster move from Real Madrid in 2018.
